EM. Falcone – French sculptor, author of the monument to Peter the Great for St. Petersburg (the so-called “Bronze Horseman”). He worked in the field of small forms plastics, easel and monumental sculpture.
The model of the sculpture “Bather before Bathing” was made in 1757.
Depicted is a nude young woman full-length, with an “a la antique” hairdo. Turning her head to the left, she covers her chest with her left hand, and holds the sliding cape with her right hand. Round stand, profiled.
The Kasli plant has been casting sculptures since the 1880s.
Condition: corresponds to age and grade.
Without restorations. Original. Excellent antique safety. Native factory painting. Noble patina. The “traces of time” are barely visible.
